Job Description

This role focuses on mechanical repairs and maintenance for truck trailers, with emphasis on suspension, brake, and air systems.

Previous experience working on truck trailers is non negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing mechanical repairs on trailers including axles, air systems, drums, and springs
  • Preloading wheel bearings
  • Working with electric air systems and mechanical suspension
  • Managing pneumatic systems
  • Adjusting brakes and brake shoes
  • Diagnosing and repairing S-Cam bushes, slack adjusters, and torque arm bushes
  • Comprehensive maintenance of trailer suspension components

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of specific experience working on trailers (non-negotiable)
  • Fully bilingual
  • Must have own transportation
  • Ability to work long hours and perform under pressure
  • Extensive practical knowledge of trailer systems below deck
