Key Responsibilities

• Perform
  planned maintenance
  on press and plastic mould tools.
• Execute
  maintenance schedules
  to ensure maximum uptime.
• Drive
  operational efficiency
  and cost-effective tool replacements.
• Maintain tools, jigs, and dies to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and fabricate
  new equipment
  as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to meet requirements and
  train subordinates
  .
• Minimize reworks and non-conforming products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on tools, jigs, dies, and machine settings.
• Repair breakdowns and assist with
  press and injection moulding machine setups
  .
• Fabricate machine parts using
  CNC milling, conventional milling, lathes, and grinders
  .

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate
  .
• Trade-tested Tool, Die & Jig Maker
  qualification.
• 5+ years' experience
  in plastic injection moulding and metal press progression tools.
• Previous maintenance experience and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Hands-on experience with
  press and injection moulding machines
  .
• CNC experience (milling machine and wire cutter).
