About the Opportunity

Lead high-spec industrial product sales across Africa with a global player in engineered electrical systems.

Is this you?

You're a driven and technically savvy sales professional who thrives on building lasting client relationships. You have a proven track record selling technical products, ideally electrical components into industrial environments, and you're confident engaging with Engineers, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders alike. You're naturally proactive, take ownership, and enjoy solution-based selling. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and on the factory floor, you're mature, energetic and reliable. You're also confident, goal-focused and bring a strong sense of initiative, but you're humble enough to work collaboratively with a wider team.

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You'll take the lead on promoting and selling a premium industrial product range into sectors like mining, oil & gas, food processing and  manufacturing companies. Through both direct engagement and distributor channels, you'll identify new opportunities, specify solutions into large projects, and manage key accounts across your territory. From nurturing distributors to handling technical specs with OEMs and EPCs, your week will mix field visits, CRM reporting, client meetings and pipeline follow-up. You'll have structured training and plenty of autonomy, with support from a hands-on MD and international HQ.

You'll join a long-established, international engineering group renowned for its high-spec electrical connection systems used in tough industrial environments. The offices are based in Jet Park, Gauteng with 70+ years of innovation, strong technical support, and presence across 10+ global regions, this niche leader delivers premium products to the world's most demanding sectors. Locally, you'll be part of a small, dedicated team that values professionalism, personal growth, and long-term relationships.

What you'll need

You'll bring at least 5 years of B2B industrial sales experience, ideally with manufactured technical equipment. You'll be confident managing end-user and distributor relationships and have a strong network in industrial sectors. You're proficient with CRM tools, understand project/specification-based sales, and have the credibility to talk shop with engineers. A technical background in electrical or industrial systems will be a strong advantage.
