JUNIOR MERCHANDISER – DBN
SALARY: R16 000 (CTC)
  • Must know processes and procedures for Merchandiser
  • Understanding of garment rating.
  • Understanding  of fabric bases.
  • Garment construction knowledge (an added advantage);
  • Ability to run cost sheets on SYNC.
  • Understanding of production processes.
  • Good computer skills to manage spread sheets, send emails, do follow up with buyers, planners and QA's etc;
  • Communication skills are of great importance to liaise with our customers and internal team.
  • Arranging of s/off's and L/dips from China and keeping eye on ship dates in relation to delivery dates and making sure we receive bulk sampling on time;
  • Raising fabric orders and process to China/suppliers;
  • Tracking shipping of fabric out of China;
  • Track fit by dates and seal by dates are met;
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadline.
  •  Must know how to do costings
