SHEQ Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities Qualification
  • Recognized Health and Safety Qualification e.g. SAMTRAC, NEBOSH IGC, or equivalent
  • ISO 9001 Quality Systems
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 Years' experience in a dedicated SHEQ role responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the company's comprehensive Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management systems, including site work.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in identifying and implementing practical safety solutions (e.g. machine guarding, lockout-tagout, safe work procedures) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and its application in manufacturing and construction/site environments.
  • Verifiable experience in implementing and managing ISO quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proven experience in conducting formal risk assessments and compiling safety files.
  • Experience in a high-temperature or heavy manufacturing industry (e.g. furnaces, foundries, industrial heating).
