Based in Polokwane and reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will implement and deliver on the branch business plan to meet and exceed business objectives, targets and indicators at branch level.

Main Duties include but not limited to:

  • Achieve and/or exceed branch operating profit;
  • Manage branch expenses within budget.
  • Develop and implement a branch business plan to meet financial objectives;
  • Integrate and manage retail and contract components of branch business plan;
  • Effectively manage daily branch operational realities and requirements;
  • Manage branch stock holding within budgeted and business plan parameters;
  • Maintain branch merchandising standards;
  • Implement branch people plan to employ, manage and develop staff;
  • Maintain and comply with relevant legislation, company policies, Standard Operating procedures
  • (SOP's) and housekeeping standards;
  • Develop a healthy & inclusive work culture within the division and team;
  • Manage and monitor team KPI's

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Business / retail related tertiary qualification / management diploma from recognised institution
  • At least 4 years' extensive experience managing a retail branch including management of people
  • Experience in Polokwane markets is preferred

Industry Knowledge:

Construction, retail and plumbing is preferred
