Role Description

The Senior Auditor/Audit Consultant will conduct in-depth analyses and audits of financial records, manage client engagements, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and provide strategic financial insights. Additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, identifying and mitigating risks, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize processes. This is a full-time, remote role offering the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries while contributing to their financial growth and compliance objectives. Preferably with PFMA&MFMA experience

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial auditing, internal audit processes, and assurance services
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, tax advisory, and company registration processes
  • Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and corporate finance advisory services
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, analyze financial data, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant auditing tools and software
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA) qualification preferred
  • Registered auditor with IRBA or eligibility for registration with IRBA
  • Experience working with SMEs or government organizations is a plus
