Salary: R6 000 – R7 000 (Cost to Company)

Overview:

Cube Workspace Rondebosch is looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-driven Barista to run our café station. The ideal candidate will prepare quality coffee, serve snacks and cold drinks, handle payments, and ensure a welcoming environment for our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and hot beverages to a high standard.
  • Serve snacks, cold drinks, and other light refreshments.
  • Operate the Yoco payment system and process all transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and serving area.
  • Ensure stock levels are monitored and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the café area.

Requirements:

  • Previous barista or customer-service experience (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to operate basic point-of-sale systems (Yoco experience an advantage).
  • Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
