REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/ Diploma in Nursing with approximately 5 years post-basic and proven leadership and/ or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in the area of specialization)
  • A Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essential
  • A Postgraduate qualification in Management and Nursing Education would prove advantageous
  • At least 5 years of experience as a qualified theatre registered nurse
  • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council
  • Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial and change management principles
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Driver's license and own transport
