SAP Functional Consultant (12-month contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled
SAP Functional Consultant
to support and enhance SAP modules, ensuring seamless alignment between business processes and system functionality. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and recommend appropriate SAP solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed SAP configurations.
  • Configure, customise, and optimise SAP modules to meet operational needs.
  • Work closely with developers and technical teams to ensure smooth system integrations.
  • Lead and support system testing, user training, and documentation activities.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve system issues.
  • Maintain SAP system stability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Contribute to post-implementation support, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business units such as Finance, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure process alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in a relevant module (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP, etc.) is advantageous.
  • 3–4 years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant.
  • Strong SAP Finance (FI/CO) skills.
  • Proficiency with S/4HANA is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and work independently as well as collaboratively.
