Our team of experts is looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Outbound Team Leader to join the Absolute Pets team at Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park.

If you want to join our team, these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for as a Outbound Team Leader:

  • Responsible for assisting the Assistant Warehouse Manager with the Outbound functions of the warehouse i.e. picking, packing, quality checking, distribution, fleet management, etc.
  • Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports/statistics to management.
  • Ensure that agreed outbound metrics are achieved and that there is a high level of delivery from the team to achieve these metrics.
  • Ensure that short picks are at a minimum and that the outbound team are held accountable.
  • Assist with weekly cycle counts and investigate any inventory losses.
  • IBT management and store communication – Comply with agreed SLA's as per instruction from line manager.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the outbound team.
  • Maintain a high level of discipline, accountability, and adherence to processes with the team.
  • Organise and maintain stock and storage areas in the outbound area.
  • Ensure that set outbound deadlines and targets are achieved.
  • Adherent to agreed outbound processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity is met by the team.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • The completion of ad hoc duties as assigned by the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager.
