Electrical Draughtsman

RPO Recruitment's client, a leading company specialising in supplying high-tech systems and solutions in the electrical engineering industry, is seeking a qualified Electrical Draughtsman who can join their successful team in Nelspruit as soon as possible.  

Responsibilities:

• The successful incumbent will mainly be responsible for the development of electrical schematic, single line diagrams, and general assemblies in AutoCAD and E-Plan software packages for the Engineering Services department.
• Required to work with the Electrical Systems Engineers/Technicians on new projects where detailed electrical and some civils drawings need to be produced or developed.

Requirements:

• Multi-Disciplinary Draughting Certificate or Diploma
• Electrical Trade Test beneficial
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience working on industrial electrical equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical circuitry and designs
• Ability to prepare drawings of wiring systems and circuit layouts and creating general assembly diagrams used to build electrical equipment and systems, as well as develop PID drawing packages
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and E-Plan software
