About You
You're a network specialist who lives and breathes connectivity. With deep expertise in Ubiquiti's UniFi ecosystem, you don't just maintain networks—you architect them for peak performance and reliability. You understand that in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, network downtime isn't an option, and you proactively monitor, optimize, and secure our infrastructure to keep business flowing seamlessly.

Whether you're troubleshooting a connectivity issue, deploying new access points, or implementing advanced security protocols, you approach each challenge methodically and efficiently. Responsibilities
Network Design and Deployment:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and establish optimal network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and deploy UniFi access points, switches, security gateways, and related Ubiquiti equipment
- Plan and execute network expansion projects to support organizational growth
- Design and implement both wired and wireless network solutions that ensure seamless connectivity across all office locations
Performance Monitoring And Management
- Continuously monitor network performance using UniFi Controller and related management tools
- Optimize network configurations for maximum speed, reliability, and efficiency
- Manage bandwidth allocation and server capacity to meet user demand
- Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements proactively
- Generate and analyze network performance reports to identify trends and potential issues
Troubleshooting And Maintenance
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify and resolve network connectivity issues
- Ensure high availability and minimal service interruption through proactive maintenance
- Respond promptly to network incidents and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate firmware updates and patches for all network equipment
- Maintain network uptime and reliability standards aligned with business objectives
Security Implementation
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate network security protocols and measures
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and secure access controls
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Respond to security incidents and implement preventative measures
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company security policies
ISP Relations And Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Internet Service Provider relationships
- Negotiate service level agreements and manage ISP performance expectations
- Troubleshoot ISP connectivity issues and coordinate resolution efforts
- Evaluate ISP services and recommend optimizations or changes as needed
- Manage failover solutions and backup connectivity options
Documentation And Standards
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and policies
- Document standard operating procedures for network operations and troubleshooting
- Create and update network diagrams and asset inventories
- Ensure all changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders
Equipment And Software Management
- Install and configure network equipment and software, including end-user networking accessories
- Manage the lifecycle of network hardware, coordinating upgrades and replacements
- Ensure proper inventory management of all network-related assets
- Evaluate new networking technologies and make recommendations for adoption
User Support And Training
- Provide technical support to end-users for network connectivity issues
- Train staff on secure network usage and best practices
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve cross-functional technical challenges
- Communicate network changes, maintenance windows, and updates effectively to users
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with Ubiquiti UniFi product updates, features, and best practices
- Participate in ongoing professional development and industry training
- Research and recommend emerging network technologies that could benefit the organization
- Contribute to IT strategy discussions with insights on network infrastructure needs
Experience And Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi equipment and ecosystem (required)
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level wired and wireless networks
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching)
- Experience with network security implementation including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently
- Experience managing ISP relationships and coordinating connectivity solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Project management capabilities with experience delivering network projects on time and within scope
- Certifications such as Ubiquiti Certified Professional, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are highly advantageous
- Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools
- Experience with documentation and maintaining technical records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment where uptime is critical

- Strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence.
