We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance activities at our client's chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of chemical processes and equipment, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery within the facility, including reactors, pumps, mixers, and instrumentation
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including hazardous waste management and handling procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs
- Monitor and report on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and inventory levels
- Participate in plant safety audits and incident investigations as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a chemical manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and equipment, including pumps, valves, reactors, and instrumentation
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures
