We are searching for a well-organized person to join our team. The engineer's assistant responsibilities include attending meetings, performing all practical and administrative duties assigned by the manager, traveling to other sites when required, assisting on projects, offering suggestions for improvement. You should be able to work in a team and be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and maintain the workflow in the factory.
  • Assist with client queries.
  • Preparing of quotation for customers.
  • Assist with job costings.
  • Traveling to sites for queries and measurements.
  • Assist with drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Observing existing strategies and techniques and offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Completing all tasks set by the manager and assisting wherever possible.
  • Be able to manage small projects independently.

Requirements:

  • Previous employment in an engineering environment.
  • Experience in a technical field would be advantageous.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • Understand engineering drawings.
  • Do calculations, take measurements, and make adjustments.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Good observation skills
  • Willingness to learn.

Experience

3 – 5 Years of experience in a similar role.
