We're looking for a Creative Strategist with 5 or more years of experience in an Agency setting. As a Creative Strategist at Hamiltons, you'll be responsible for developing and guiding the overall marketing and advertising strategy for the company, focusing on the big picture rather than individual projects and campaigns. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and creative. You'll help shape brand narratives, develop campaign strategies, and uncover cultural insights that lead to award-winning ideas. This role requires both analytical thinking and creative intuition. In essence, you are the architect of a brand's communication approach, ensuring it is innovative, effective and aligned with business goals.

You will be required to:

  • Translate client goals and market data into clear creative briefs and brand strategies.
  • Conduct research and analyse audience, competitor, and cultural trends to generate insights.
  • Work closely with creative teams to ensure strategic alignment across campaigns.
  • Lead ideation sessions and contribute to the development of campaign concepts.
  • Collaborate with account managers to align strategy with client business objectives.
  • Present strategies and creative rationale to clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adapt strategies where necessary.
  • Keep abreast of emerging industry trends, consumer behaviour, and digital innovation.

You must have:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in strategy, advertising, brand planning, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop clear, compelling brand and/ or campaign strategies.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital, social, and traditional advertising ecosystems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with various research platforms is a plus.
  • A passion for culture, creativity, and human behaviour.
  • A strategic mindset with a proven ability to develop creative concepts (both images and videos) that resonate with target audiences and are visually appealing.
  • An understanding that ad designs need to be creative and require thoughtful consideration.
  • Hybrid thinker – analytical and creative.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
  • Comfortable with challenging briefs and pushing for breakthrough thinking.
  • Enthusiastic about big ideas and small details alike.
