Designer (Kreator Agency)

Kreator is the in-house creative agency for RGBC. RGBC is a distributor of fine champagne, spirits and whisky in South Africa. We are an independent, lean and adaptable business, employing passionate and talented individuals across South Africa. The successful incumbent will work in collaboration with the RGBC Commercial and Brand team, as well as with the Brand Principal and Commercial Team for Africa.

The successful incumbent will localise global toolboxes and collateral as well as work on

ad hoc campaigns as briefed in by brand managers and commercial team.

OBJECTIVE:
To create, edit, conceptualise, develop, and design engaging, professional

and creative graphics and content for a variety of platforms

The Key KPA's for this role include (but are not limited to):

1. Marketing & Advertising Design

Ideation

• Conceptualise and develop creative ideas, graphics, layouts, and campaign concepts.
• Generate innovative design solutions aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Contribute to 360° campaign and promotions delivery.

Design

Design and produce marketing collateral across multiple touchpoints, including:

• POSM (brand-specific) for On Trade execution
• Product visuals (broadsheets, online retail assets, etc.)
• Mock up various collateral
• Brand-led programme design support
• Key visual and digital asset resizing (optimised for various environments and devices)
• POSM asset adaptations and renders
• PDU / Windows / Displays / Stands
• Support creative needs for Main Market, Redistributors, and Township Runners
• Menu programmes support for On Trade channels (accurate brand representation)
• Supplementary creative support for partner agencies (ATL, PR, etc.)
• Maintain high brand standards while delivering fresh, compelling, and relevant design

solutions.

Video Editing

• Edit and produce engaging video content for digital, social, and internal brand use.
• Adapt global video assets for local markets and ensure brand consistency across all

formats.

• Adapt global video assets for various markets, ensuring consistency in tone, quality,

and brand identity.

2. Presentation & Feedback

• Present creative concepts and design solutions to internal and external

stakeholders.

• Confidently communicate ideas and rationale behind creative decisions.
• Incorporate feedback effectively to refine and finalise deliverables.

Requirements & Qualifications

We're looking for a designer with strong emotional intelligence, who can navigate feedback constructively, communicate effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams and personalities.

This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring an individual who can multi-task, prioritise efficiently, and manage multiple
creative projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.

The ideal candidate remains composed under pressure, takes ownership of their work, and consistently delivers high-standard creative output, even within tight deadlines.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a reputable advertising agency or creative studio.
• Strong, integrated advertising portfolio showcasing conceptual, design, and

typography.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign;

After Effects or Premiere Pro advantageous).

• Strong conceptual thinking, aesthetic sense, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent video editing and motion design skills are highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• A self-starter who takes initiative, delivers under pressure, and meets tight

deadlines.

• Passionate about creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Interest in AI tools.
