CareerKit Academy is expanding — and we're seeking a visionary Principal to lead our pioneering Saturday School, which equips Grade 8–11 learners with the essential skills needed for the future of work.

Role Overview
As Principal, you will serve as the Academy's lead educator, operations manager, and brand ambassador. You'll oversee academic delivery, staff performance, learner support, parent communication, and partnerships — ensuring excellence across the entire Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all academic, administrative, and operational functions
- Manage 4 Saturday teachers, 7 online tutors, and 1 receptionist
- Oversee curriculum planning and academic quality across all four subjects
- Build a strong culture of excellence, innovation, and care
- Liaise with parents and partners
- Oversee enrolment, attendance, assessments, and reporting
- Drive marketing, community engagement, and enrolment growth
KPIs include: learner attendance (90%), parent satisfaction (85%+), academic progress, enrolment growth, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Education / Educational Management (Postgrad an advantage)
5+ years of educational leadership experience
Strong CAPS curriculum understanding
Familiarity with SETA/QCTO frameworks
Experience working with youth programs and blended learning
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills
Passion for education transformation and African youth development
Compensation
- Salary: R10,000 per month
- Performance Bonuses tied to growth and learner outcomes
- Career Growth: Opportunity to advance into Regional Principal or Academy Director roles as we scale nationally
