Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our team in creating beautiful and functional spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent organizational skills, and a strong eye for aesthetics. This position will involve working closely with the designer to assist in design and implementation of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Measuring and documenting rooms, then drawing and modelling the spaces in our software
  • Modelling furniture and cabinetry pieces for manufacturing purposes
  • Compiling quotations
  • Source materials, furniture, and accessories for projects
  • Completing  technical documentation for manufacture
  • Maintain project files and documentation
  • Assist in creating presentations, mood and sample boards for client meetings
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Content creation for the company's social media
  • Stay informed about the latest design trends and products in the industry

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Design or related field
  • Previous experience in interior design or a related field is preferred

Inherent requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for design
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
