About the Company:

We are a dynamic group of companies operating primarily in property development. As part of our finance team, the Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across our group entities.

Role Purpose:

The Management Accountant will be responsible for processing financial information for the group, ensuring month-end procedures and processes are completed accurately, and preparing management accounts on a monthly basis. This role will provide critical insights to support decision-making and assist the finance team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for all entities in the group.
  • Ensure month-end close procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions across multiple entities.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Support financial reporting, including key performance metrics for management.
  • Assist the finance team with ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the preparation for audits.
  • Liaise with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Ideally 2–3 years' experience in accounting/management accounting.
  • Proficiency in Xero is essential. Experience with Smartsheets and QuickBooks is advantageous.
