Develop, test, and maintain high-quality full stack applications and data solutions.

Lead technical design discussions and ensure best practices in coding, security, and testing.

Manage and contribute to requirement engineering to align solutions with business needs.

Drive the PICS process for Problems, Incidents, and Change management within the DevOps team.

Mentor and support junior developers to foster skill growth and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and product owners.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for data workflows and application deployment.

Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are upheld in all deliverables.

Continuously identify and implement process improvements and new technologies.

Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and team planning sessions.

Managing and enabling internal and external teams to carry out implementation tasks.

Independent programming IT Solutions.

Collaborating closely with IT providers.

Taking end-to-ed responsibility for functions and products from collecting requirements to implementation and problem solution.

Controlling and managing the software lifecycle and continuously integrating and deploying IT applications.

Applying test-driven development methods.

Applying in-depth knowledge and expertise to develop accurate software solutions for products.

Collaborating with product stakeholders.

Executing development activities.

Working according to Agile methods, eg. Scrum.

Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.

Essential Skills:

Strong skills in writing clean, secure, and maintainable code.

Experience with testing, automated testing, and software maintenance.

Knowledge of the PICS process (Problems, Incidents, and Change management) in a DevOps setting.

Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data platforms.

Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools like GitHub Actions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Leadership experience, including guiding technical work and teams.

Requirement engineering skills to align solutions with business needs.

Mentoring experience for junior developers.

Advantageous Skills:

Experience with streaming data (Structured Streaming, Kafka, Delta Live Tables).

Familiarity with materialized views, streaming tables, data catalogs and metadata management.

Knowledge of data visualization and BI tools (Splunk, Power BI, Grafana).

Experience with data security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the industry.

Certifications in Databricks or cloud provider platforms.

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).

Experience with DevOps tools and practices beyond CI/CD (e.g., monitoring, logging, alerting).

Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Understanding of machine learning pipelines and integration.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
