Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities include designing and developing machines and mechanical systems, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and analytical tools and leading tasks to ensure timely completion. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring the highest quality standards in mechanical engineering will be essential.

Qualifications

  • 10 Years design experience
  • Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering, particularly in the design and optimization of complex systems
  • Experience with design of marine and land-based mine systems will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Machine Design, including manufacturing and assembly methodologies
  • Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related tools; experience with Creo Parametric and AutoCAD 2D/3D will be an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a team environment
