Armed Reaction Officer - Bloemfontein

We are looking for highly disciplined and reliable Armed Reaction Officers to join our growing security team. This role requires individuals with strong situational awareness, professionalism, and commitment to protecting both clients and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergencies.
  • Conduct area patrols and site inspections.
  • Maintain high visibility and professionalism at all times.
  • Complete accurate incident and patrol reports.
  • Communicate effectively with Control Room and Clients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PSIRA Registered (Minimum Grade C).
  • Valid Firearm License.
  • Firearm Business Competency (Handgun, Rifle, and Shotgun).
  • Valid Driver's License (Code 08 or higher).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Armed Reaction.
  • ·Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills in English.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Computer literate an advantage.
  • Hardworking, dedicated, honest, sober habits.
  • Minimum Fitness and Shooting standards (Regulation 21) must be achieved.
  • Fair knowledge of Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Act is compulsory.
  • Upholding company values and industry regulations.
  • Must pass regular routine physical fitness and eye tests.

Education:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).

License/Certification:

  • PSIRA (Required).
  • Competency (Required).
  • Valid regulation 21 certificate.

Area: Bloemfontein (Preference will be given to people staying in Bloemfontein)

Standard basic salary of R31.32 per hour.
