Test Planning & Analysis:

Review business and functional requirements to identify test conditions and scenarios.

Participate in refinement and sprint planning sessions to ensure clear test scope definition.

Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria in alignment with the company's testing strategy and standards.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to clarify business rules and system functionalities.

Test Design & Execution:

Design and automate test cases using Tricentis Tosca based on defined requirements.

Execute both manual and automated tests across various environments (UAT, SIT, Pre-Prod).

Conduct regression testing and maintain test suites for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Validate data integrity and consistency across financial products, loan origination systems, and integration interfaces.

Defect Management:

Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using the company's defect management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).

Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to prioritise and resolve defects efficiently.

Participate in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Automation & Continuous Improvement:

Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using Tosca Commander and Tosca CI integration tools.

Contribute to test data management and reusability of automated scripts.

Support continuous testing practices within Agile and DevOps delivery models.

Stay abreast of Tricentis and QA trends, recommending improvements to testing approaches and tools.

Technical Environment:

Automation Tool: Tricentis Tosca (mandatory).

Test Management: Jira, Confluence, HP ALM / Azure DevOps.

CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.

Programming/Scripting Knowledge: VBScript, C#, or SQL (advantageous).

Databases: Oracle, SQL Server.

Applications: Core Banking Systems, Loan Origination, Finance Platforms, Digital Channels.

Qualifications:

National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Testing.

ISTQB Foundation Certification (required).

Tosca Certificate - AS1 & AS2 Certificate.

Experience:

3–5 years of experience as a Test Analyst in a financial services or banking environment.

2+ years hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (test case design, automation, execution, and maintenance).

Proven experience testing complex integrations between banking systems, APIs, and middleware.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
