AFTERCARE TEACHER

AFTERCARE TEACHER AT PRESTEGIOUS EDUCARE REQUIRED

Based in the Kuilsriver /Soneike area.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Well-presented and have a positive attitude
• Have a passion for working with children
• Patient, with a kind yet firm personality
• Be proficient in English and Afrikaans
• Have good organisational and planning skills
• Can work independently
• Creative
• Previous experience working with children from Grades 1-4 (teaching or aftercare)
• A clear criminal record with police clearance
• Relevant tertiary qualification (preferably BEd Foundation Phase)
• Have own/reliable transport
• References from previous employer

Working hours are 12:00 till 18:00 during school terms and 08:00 – 18:00 during school holidays Able to assist with homework for grades 1-4 Initiate and plan fun activities for the children Plan and implement a holiday programme during school holidays
