Job description

As a E&I technician you will be part of a large and/or small team with plenty of room for growth and development, you will be engaged in commissioning, repairs, overhaul and service technical installations in the process industry.

Almost every situation is different and new. Due to work diversity your routine approach will differ daily to insure growth of work technique.

Our goal is to build and maintain long-term relationships with our customers at a higher level.

Within our E&I technician, your duties are mainly within the electrical engineering field but you will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, material flow and planning.

You will have to preform the work independently or in a small team.

Very accurate and will be the point of contact for clients / customers and relations regarding the daily work.

Job requirements

  • Minimum requirement for Education:
  • Red Seal Trade Certificate - national Diploma - NQF 4 ( certificate must be included with resume for verification )
  • Minimum two years of electrical experience.
  • Both Fluent is Afrikaans and English ( no exceptions other then other European languages)
  • PLC ( trouble shooting or programming ) will be at an advantage.
  • Wireman's Licence will be at an advantage.
  • Preform electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities and projects.
  • Instrumentation Maintenance (Core Responsibility): Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of instrumentation devices such as flow meters, level indicators, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
  • Automation: Troubleshoot, test, diagnose, configure, and perform routine maintenance on a DCS system. Perform basic functions such as adjusting control loops, alarm settings, HMI updating, interlock verification, and backups.
  • Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on electrical equipment to ensure their reliability and adherence to safety standards.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently to diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and potential safety risks.
