Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Electrician based in the City of Johannesburg. The Automotive Electrician will perform day-to-day tasks such as conducting electrical maintenance, diagnosing faults, and carrying out electrical repairs on machinery and vehicles. The role entails maintaining and ensuring all electrical as well as mechanical systems are functioning effectively and safely, addressing any malfunctions, and adhering to maintenance schedules. INstallation of mechanical parts as well as servicing of heavy equipment is a requirement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair of machinery and vehicles
- Strong skills in Fault Finding and diagnosing issues in electrical systems
- Experience in Electrical Repairs and addressing technical problems effectively
- Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems used in the automotive or industrial sectors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certification or qualifications in electrical work or automotive systems
- Previous experience in the mining or industrial sector is an advantage
- Mechanical maintenance experience.
