About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Storeman to join our dealership's parts department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, receiving and issuing parts, and maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom to support both retail and workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries.

Accurately bin and label parts in designated storage locations.

Issue parts to workshop and counter staff as requested.

Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock audits.

Maintain cleanliness and order within the parts storeroom.

Monitor and report low stock levels or discrepancies.

Ensure all parts movements are accurately recorded on the dealership system.

Assist in packing and dispatching parts for delivery when required.

Adhere to all safety and dealership policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12 essential.

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Parts Storeman in a vehicle dealership or motor industry.

Good knowledge of automotive parts and storage procedures.

Experience using dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, Evolve).

Physically fit and able to handle stock movement.

Valid driver's licence (advantageous).
