About the OpportunityWe are seeking South African Senior Project Managers with deep expertise in managing utility -scale Solar PV projects under EPC or IPP frameworks. This is a 12 to 24month contract assignment and potential opportunities after the project – offering the opportunity to drive the execution of major renewable energy infrastructure projects in South Africa.You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery, from mobilisation and construction to final commissioning, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of EPC / IPP solar PV project execution from site mobilisation to grid connectionManage and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activitiesLead cross -functional teams including contractors, consultants, engineers, and HSEMonitor project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and quality metricsConduct regular site visits and oversee construction progressEngage with stakeholders, landowners, utilities (e.g. Eskom), and regulatory bodiesEnsure project compliance with national standards, grid code, and permitting requirementsReport progress and risks to senior management and investorsDrive resolution of technical and operational challenges Required Experience & QualificationsDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or Project ManagementMinimum 10 years' project management experience, with at least 5 years in utility -scale PVProven track record in EPC or IPP project environments in South AfricaStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera), and contract managementExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience working with Eskom and/or municipal grid authorities is highly beneficialWillingness to be based in and travel cpt oR site as Travel is required
