Architectural Draftsperson

Zietsman Architects, based in Durban North, is currently seeking a motivated Intern Architectural Draughtsperson to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate eager to gain practical experience in the architectural field.

Position Details:

• Location: Durban North, Durban
• Employment Type: Internship (Full-time)
• Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable
• Duration: As per training requirement

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of detailed architectural and technical drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
• Support project teams in drafting layouts, elevations, and construction documentation.
• Help with revisions, plotting, and digital filing of drawings.
• Conduct site measurements and assist with project coordination.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with SACAP and building regulation standards.

Requirements:

• Completed a National Diploma / Certificate in Architectural Draughting or Architectural Technology.
• Competent and familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of building detailing, technical accuracy, and drawing conventions.
• High attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
