This role is recruited through Project Y on behalf of our client — a fast-growing European insurtech company building modern, data-driven software that transforms how insurance claims are managed. They combine excellent UX, deep technical expertise, and innovative loss-adjusting technology.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and build impactful solutions

  • Lead your own projects within a small, highly skilled development team

  • Drive the full product lifecycle: idea, design, prototyping, execution, deployment

  • Build and maintain highly available, scalable services

  • Contribute across backend, frontend, architecture, and infrastructure

  • Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve team velocity

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering experience in startups or high-growth environments

  • Experience building B2B software is preferred

  • Strong understanding of user experience and system-level thinking

  • Passion for pair programming and clean architecture

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
