Role Overview and Core Purpose:
This role translates ADB's strategic priorities into tangible business results through three interconnected mandates:
- Leading the Growth Office
– driving product development and new revenue streams that transform the business (Horizon 3 innovation) - Optimising Business Operations
– eliminating friction, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency through process excellence and automation - Enabling Strategy Execution
– supporting the Strategy team with performance management frameworks, dashboards, and execution discipline
This is a "change the business" role focused on building what's next while systematically improving how we work today. The successful candidate will balance entrepreneurial product leadership with operational rigour, translating strategic intent into measurable outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
1. Growth Office & Product Development (PRIMARY FOCUS)
Building the future of the business
- Establish and lead the Growth Office to identify, develop, and launch new revenue streams and business models
- Own the product development pipeline from ideation through market launch
- Create systematic frameworks for evaluating and prioritising new opportunities aligned to market needs
- Manage the portfolio of innovation initiatives with clear stage-gates and investment criteria
- Accelerate time-to-market for new products and services
- Build partnerships and ecosystems that enable new business opportunities
- Develop go-to-market strategies for scaling new offerings across ADB's customer base
- Establish product development governance frameworks and quality standards
- Monitor and report growth initiative performance, ROI, and market traction
- Present quarterly growth portfolio reviews to EXCO
2. Process Excellence & Business Optimisation:
Driving operational efficiency and cost savings
- Lead enterprise-wide process standardisation and optimisation initiatives
- Drive process automation programs (RPA, workflow automation, AI-enabled processes)
- Implement process mining and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and friction points
- Ensure alignment with best practice frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Measure and improve process maturity across business units
- Deliver measurable cost savings
through process optimisation and operational improvements - Eliminate friction points that slow delivery, erode margin, or create customer dissatisfaction
- Build business cases for automation investments with clear ROI targets
- Track and report on efficiency gains, cycle time reductions, and cost savings delivered
3. Strategy Execution Support & Performance Management:
Enabling strategic accountability
- Support the Strategy team in translating organisational strategy into executable initiatives
- Implement and maintain Executive Personal Scorecards across the business
- Develop strategic performance dashboards providing real-time visibility on key metrics
- Monitor strategic initiative progress and flag risks or required course corrections
- Support organisational transformation initiatives with program management rigour
- Provide regular reporting to the Strategy team on execution progress and business performance
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Capability Building:
Building teams and breaking down silos
- Foster collaboration between technology, operations, and business units
- Build high-performing teams with future-ready capabilities in product management, analytics, and automation
- Develop talent pipelines in key capability areas
- Create a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Growth & Product Development (Primary)
- Number of new products/offerings launched annually
- Revenue generated from new offerings (tracked over 12-24 month horizons)
- Time-to-market for new products vs. targets
- Growth initiative ROI and portfolio health metrics
- Customer adoption rates for new offerings
Business Process Optimisation & Cost Savings:
- Annualised cost savings delivered through process improvements (to be baselined in first 90 days)
- Process automation adoption rate and FTE hours saved
- Process efficiency improvements (cycle time reductions, error rates)
- Number of friction points eliminated across key business processes
Strategy Execution Support:
- Executive Personal Scorecard implementation and adoption rate
- % of strategic initiatives tracked and on target
- Quality and timeliness of performance reporting to Executive: Strategy
- Strategic dashboard utilisation by EXCO members
SUCCESS PROFILE:
Experience & Background:
- 10-15 years progressive experience in strategy consulting, product management, business transformation, or operational excellence
- Proven track record launching new products or services that generated meaningful revenue
- Demonstrated success delivering process optimisation and measurable cost savings
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to build business cases and evaluate ROI
- Experience working in technology services, digital transformation, or related industries preferred

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
- MBA, Advanced degree, or relevant professional certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Product Management) strongly preferred
