Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Healthcare Specialist role based in Pietermaritzburg. The Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support, providing frontline medical assistance, and ensuring patient well-being. Duties include administering emergency medical services, facilitating healthcare education and training, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address health-related needs. The role also involves maintaining clear and professional communication with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Emergency Medical Services (EMT) and a strong understanding of medical practice
  • Proficiency in Communication skills for interactions with diverse individuals and teams
  • Training experience to support education and development in healthcare settings
  • A solid foundation in general Healthcare knowledge and patient care
  • A relevant degree or certification in healthcare or a related field
  • Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative and dynamic on-site environment
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
