Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, Independent Practice in Newcastle  Full Time / Part Time

We are working with a friendly, independent practice in Newcastle who are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. The position is full-time (40 hours per week over 4 days), with part-time applicants (2-3 days per week) also being considered.

Team Composition:

  • 2 Vets
  • 1 RVN Head Nurse
  • 2 Full-time RVNs & 1 Part-time RVN
  • 1 SVN and 1 VCA
  • 2 Receptionists
  • Practice Manager

Job Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a busy small animal practice as well as independently at a branch surgery.
  • The role will involve a share of Saturdays on a rota basis, with 1:4 weekends.
  • No OOH at the moment, but this may change in the future.
  • Certificate holders are also encouraged to apply.

  • Ultrasound & X-ray
  • Full Idexx In-house Laboratory

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 18:30
  • Saturday: 09:00 13:00
