We're Hiring: Skilled Boilermaker

We are looking for an experienced
Boilermaker
to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication & Assembly

• Interpret and work confidently from technical drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, shape, weld, and assemble metal plates, sections, and structural components.
• Fabricate bins, hoppers, platework, conveyor frames, and supporting structures.
• Complete all prep work, including marking out, bending, drilling, and palletising components for tack-weld assembly.
• Fabricate equipment independently from detailed drawings.

Installation & Maintenance

• Install completed conveyor systems and metal structures on-site.
• Inspect components for wear, corrosion, cracks, or structural issues and perform repairs as needed.

Welding & Metalwork

• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding to required quality standards.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication meets safety and quality requirements.
• Identify wear, corrosion, cracks, or structural weaknesses within fabricated components (see above)
• Be able to complete prep work (marking out and setting out of bend lines and drilling markings as well as bending all required material and palletizing for tac-weld assemblies)
• Candidate must be efficient is reading and understanding drawings and be able to fabricate equipment from detailed drawings (unassisted)

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Work safely in confined spaces and at heights when required.
• Use PPE and handle all equipment responsibly.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong background in sheet metal, platework, and structural fabrication
• Experience with conveying equipment, bins, and hoppers
• Proficient in welding and metal fabrication
• Excellent drawing interpretation skills
• Good understanding of safety procedures
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good understanding of various metals and their work abilities

Qualifications

• Recognised Boilermaker trade certificate or completed apprenticeship
• Welding certifications (advantageous)
• Minimum
  5 years' experience
  in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments
