Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary:

RPO Recruitment's client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their Logistics team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify key issues, and develop strategic solutions to improve the supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Monitor and report on supply chain KPIs to track performance and measure the success of process improvements
  • Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance supply chain operations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and drive cost savings
  • Prepare and present data-driven reports to senior management on supply chain performance and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis or related roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools
  • Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
