•    Design automation systems & machine layouts in terms of OHS & ergonomics regulations.

•     Management of the automation aspect of the assigned CAPEX project from initiation to handover to the internal customer.

•    Selecting and managing suppliers and contractors. 

•    Integrate automation systems including robotic systems with existing infrastructure and other production equipment. 

•    Optimize existing automated systems in the factory to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

•    Prepare documentation for automated systems and user manuals and ensure that training for the operators is done by you. 

•    Work with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, manufacturing, occupational health and safety, to implement automation systems and       best practices. 

•    Research, and develop recent technologies and solutions for automation, as well as testing new products that could be used in the current automation systems.

 Education


•    Bachelor's degree in engineering/ Automation or Process control 

Specific knowledge:

•    Understanding of electrical installation regulations & electrical machinery regulations (OHS Act) 

•    Prior experience on automated packaging machines

•    Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Experience:


•    Minimum 3 years' experience in a Factory Automation or similar role
