Senior Bookkeeper

Senior Bookkeeper – Manufacturing (Bath & Body Products)

We're looking for a highly experienced and dependable Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the bath, body, or cosmetics industry, and be confident managing the full accounting function — from daily processing and reconciliations to management reporting, compliance, and cost tracking.

You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring production costs, and supporting management with meaningful financial insights that drive profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all bookkeeping functions
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and cash flow reports
• Manage creditor and debtor control accounts
• Process payments, and reconciliations
• Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance with SARS requirements
• Process and reconcile payroll, including PAYE, UIF, and statutory returns
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost allocations
• Maintain asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Provide management with financial analysis and insights for decision-making
• BOM's (Manufacturing)

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and SARS compliance
• Proficiency in [QuickBooks / Xero / Meshed360]
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Annual Salary Package: R300,000
