The position is for a
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.2 Architect/Consultant
, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing
enterprise-scale VCF 5.2 solutions
. The role combines
technical leadership
,
solution architecture
, and
client advisory
, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale cloud transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy
    VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2
    environments across compute, storage, network, and automation layers.
  • Serve as a
    subject matter expert (SME)
    on VMware technologies, providing strategic advice on
    cloud, automation, and security
    best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into VMware-based cloud solutions.
  • Lead architecture design, oversee implementation, and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and deliver workshops or technical presentations.
  • Support
    pre-sales
    through solution demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical documentation.
  • Work with project managers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience
    with VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 in
    large enterprise environments
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite (vRA/vRO)
    .
  • Proven ability to
    design multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures
    (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong
    leadership, client engagement, and communication skills
    .
  • Capable of solving complex architectural and integration challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware certifications
    (VCP, VCAP, VCDX) – especially in VCF or Cloud Architecture.
  • Experience with
    DevOps
    ,
    CI/CD
    , and
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Kubernetes, Docker
    , and cloud-native integrations.
  • Background in
    cloud migration
    and modernization strategies.
