A well-established company within the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in Ethekwini, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, results-driven professional with strong sales administration skills and a solid understanding of technical products. Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming sales enquiries and provide accurate quotations to customers.
  • Process sales orders efficiently and ensure timely follow-ups with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate with the operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
  • Maintain updated product knowledge and stay informed about pricing, availability, and technical specifications.
  • Handle customer complaints or queries professionally and ensure resolution.
  • Prepare sales reports and assist with general sales administration as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant tertiary qualification advantageous).
  • Proven experience in Internal Sales, preferably within a technical, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical information or product specifications.
  • Computer literate with experience in CRM or ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
