Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Project Manager to oversee our project management department and drive the successful delivery of client projects. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. You will lead a team of project managers, collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, and champion best practices in project management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the project management team in planning, executing, and delivering client projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met according to client requirements.
  4. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project timelines and budgets.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and production teams, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of project deliverables.
  6. Monitor project performance metrics, such as profitability, utilization rates, and client satisfaction scores, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Mentor and coach junior project managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them succeed in their roles.
  8. Lead project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and post-mortem reviews to ensure clear communication and alignment among project stakeholders.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management, and recommend innovative approaches to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture within the project management department, and promote a client-centric mindset throughout the agency.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, preferably in a marketing agency or related industry.
  3. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  5. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of project managers.
  7. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution.
  9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Commitment to delivering high-quality work and driving results that exceed client expectations.
