A Southern African retail solutions company is looking for customer service professionals who are interested in being trained as Baristas, based in Gauteng and Cape Town



About the Role

We are looking for vibey, energetic, and sales-driven individuals to join our Roastery Coffee team

Are you an energetic salesperson who will actively engage with customers, rather than wait for customers to come to them?

If you are passionate, resilient, a great communicator in English, and excited to learn coffee-making skills, we want you

Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively engage and approach customers to promote and sell our coffee and productsPrepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages (training provided)Upsell and promote our products to drive sales and grow store performanceHandle food items safely and hygienically (including light food preparation)Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standardsOperate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and POS systemsMonitor stock levels, restock as needed, and report shortagesFollow opening, closing, and cash-up procedures accuratelyTake initiative in creating a welcoming and high-energy environment

Requirements:

Sales personality – confident, proactive, and not afraid to approach customersEnergetic, positive, and resilient with the ability to handle rejectionExcellent English communication skillsWell-groomed, professional appearancePrevious retail or food service experience is advantageous but not essentialAble to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as requiredMatric qualification is essential
