The Spares Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers with spare parts inquiries, providing accurate product information, and processing sales efficiently. This role involves building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring excellent service delivery. The ideal candidate should have good product knowledge, strong communication skills, and a customer focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure timeous and effective supply of spares to clients.
  • Do quotations and provide feedback to clients.
  • Follow up on queries and continuous customer feedback.
  • Process all Spares Sales Orders to Invoice.
  • Ensure all orders are sent out timeously as per client requirement.
  • Ensure no COD payments go out without payment.
  • Weekly maintenance of the back order release and ensure spares go out as requested.
  • Control stock and report any problems to management immediately.
  • Review deliveries against the orders and track the status of any orders.
  • Ensuring the products are delivered on time.
  • Produce and maintain all reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literate in all Office Programs.
  • Detailed, system and result orientated.
  • Syspro experience.
  • 3 years spares sales/general sales experience
