Our BWE Drilling - Drill and Blast business unit provides full production drilling and specialty blasting services across the civil and mining industries. Our range of services are all performed with minimal disturbances to the surrounding environment and construction areas.
Description
What You'll Do:
- Planning and preparing blasts
- Safely handle, transport, and charge explosives
- Prepare blast patterns, load blast holes, and ensure secure connections
- Maintaining accurate records of explosive usage and blast performance
What You Bring:
- A current Shotfirer's Licence (WA)
- Experience as an Appointed Shotfirer within different environments in Drill and Blast
- NONEL/Detcord experience (essential)
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Full drivers licence (HR desirable)
- Strong understanding of blasting procedures and safety protocols
- National Police Clearance
