A family is looking for a LIVE IN GOVERNESS / AU PAIR for their 16 year old and 14 year old

Area: Menlopark

Ages: 16 year old and 14 year old

Working hours: Full time, live in - acting as the primary caregiver with one weekend off per month

School holiday hours: the kids will spend most of their time in the holidays on the farm in Botswana - no assistance needed -but will be communicated well in advance

Live in: live in room with own bathroom in secure estate

Duties: assist with his household with two teenagers after the passing of their mother, the adaption to new circumstances is still in progress. The client won't be at home all the time due to work commitments in Africa. We need a loving, strict "op en wakker tannie" with experience to drive around in Pretoria. The children are well behaved, friendly and well mannered. Typical day will be - taking kids to school (less than 5km from house - school), running errands if any, time off until pick up children from school, ensure house is taken care off, taking to extra mural activities if not on school grounds, prepare dinner and assist children. There is a cleaner 2 days a week.

Requirements: "Funky Ouma or Tannie", aged 40 years old plus, love and understanding of teenagers is non-negotiable and if you can sing to a song or two - you are cool

Start date: January 2026 start – permanent contract

Salary: R R30 000 per month (gross, before deductions), car provided for childcare duties

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
