Job purpose:

The purpose of a Product Designer / UX/UI Designer is to specify and design products, features and user journeys on projects and to promote the art and science of UX/UI design in the company and industry.

Key accountabilities:


• Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback

• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups

• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces

• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components

• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

• Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams to ensure user and product goals are met

• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design to enhance user experience

• The Product Designer will be involved in creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), based on their level of seniority and or experience

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment and progress throughout the design and development lifecycle.

• JUNO contribution and/or co-facilitation

• Create and contribute to the success of the UX thinktank

• Define/Contribute to the overall UX standards of Agile Bridge

Skills, know-how and experience:

• UX Requirement facilitation / workshops

• Design Systems

• UI Design Patterns

• UX Laws

• Root Cause Issue finding

• Creativity Thinking Tools

• Ability to convince development team of design choices

• Ability to convince customer of design choices

• Ability to switch context between multiple projects

• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

• Good time-management skills

Preferred:

• BIS, BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field or similar degree

• 2+ years work experience
