Job Function

The Business Analyst will form part of the continuous improvement team based at the client's site. The aim of the role is to provide the client with the relevant reports, information, and decision support to assist in operations, cost saving initiatives and identify, test and implement cost saving initiatives.

Key Performance Areas:

Projects:

  • Identifying areas for improvement and cost savings initiatives.
  • Managing projects to delivery (planning and execution).

Analysis:

  • Data analysis.
  • Simulation modelling.
  • What-if transport modelling.
  • Ad hoc analysis, queries and business support.

Reporting:

  • Building, standardising, updating and where possible automating weekly and monthly reports.
  • Verification and consolidation of reporting.
  • Communicating and presenting on reports.

General:

  • Interaction with team members, operational and contact centre personnel.
  • Process mapping.
  • Value at stake / business case determination.
  • Presentation construction.

Qualifications Required:

  • BEng / BSc Industrial Engineering or related fields.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience as an analyst preferably in Supply Chain / Logistics fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Project management experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
  • Good leadership skills in order to obtain appropriate information and to arrange and co-ordinate small projects.
