About the Job:
WOW Marketing Services is seeking a creative, fast, and efficient copywriter to join our team
.

You will be responsible for creating compelling copy for various clients and campaigns, as well as drafting proposals.

The role is a collaborative one, copy and design team members work as a unit to deliver content" AND "briefing includes multiple stakeholders including client representatives, audience members and campaign managers"

Objectives of this Role:

· Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload, often requiring quick turnaround times.

· Continually elevate creativity by writing fresh copy that resonates with the target audience and drives action.

· Adapt voice, style, and other characteristics to meet the demands of the industry, company, or target audience.

· Use of AI to assist in getting the job done

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

· Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts for campaigns

· Research and understand client needs and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with Programme Coordinators, and in-person meetings.

· Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communication materials.

· Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team.

· Revise copy based on internal and client feedback and direction.

Requirements:

· Office-based in Cape Town.

· Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 4-5 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work.

· Exceptional writing and research skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.

· Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
