About Us

Full House Creative is a Cape Town-based digital content agency specialising in high-performing, short-form social video. We work at the intersection of creativity and performance, producing UGC and social ads that help brands grow.

Our team blends fast-paced execution with data-driven creative decisions. We live in TikTok and Instagram content daily and work closely with creators to produce videos that feel native, real, and conversion focused.

With 50 to 150 videos produced each month, our environment is fast, challenging, and exciting.

The Role

We are looking for a Copywriter to join our growing team. This is not a junior role. You will take ownership of the copywriting department and work across UGC scripts, social ad copy, campaign angles, and performance-focused concepts.

Your work will directly influence how our videos perform. You will build text hooks, retention structures, punchy short form scripts, and conversion oriented copy across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and other social platforms.

You will collaborate with the Creative Director and support our editors, creators, and strategists with clear and actionable creative direction.

What You Will Do

• Write UGC scripts, angles, and short-form ad copy for social media

• Build strong text hooks and retention-focused structures

• Create copy that drives performance, clarity, and conversion

• Develop creative directions and messaging frameworks for campaigns

• Translate client objectives into scroll stopping copy and concepts

• Work with editors to refine pacing, structure, and storytelling

• Review raw creator content and adjust scripts to improve delivery

• Assist in building scalable systems and best practices for copy

• Collaborate with the Creative Director on strategy and concepts

• Help manage high volume content output and keep timelines tight

• Provide leadership as we grow the copywriting and concepting division

You Are Perfect for This If You

• Have 2 to 4 years of experience in copywriting or social creative roles

• Understand UGC, social ads, and short-form video from a performance perspective

• Can write fast, clearly, and with intention

• Can build hooks, pacing, and retention structures with confidence

• Know how TikTok and Instagram feeds behave

• Have a strong understanding of conversion psychology and marketing psychology

• Can interpret data to improve creative decisions

• Are comfortable guiding editors and creators on delivery and messaging

• Are proactive, organised, and thrive in a small but fast-moving team

• Can handle high-volume content output while keeping quality high

Bonus Points

• Experience writing UGC scripts or working with creators

• A portfolio with short form copy, ad copy, or scripts

• Understanding of performance marketing or creative testing

• Previous agency experience

• Familiarity with CapCut, TikTok editing styles, or Meta ad formats
