Nestled in the heart of Irene, our five-star country hotel combines timeless elegance with warm South African hospitality. We are seeking a
dedicated, detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeper/Supervisor
to join our exceptional housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Supervise and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all rooms and facilities meet five-star standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, inventory control, and on-the-job training.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Uphold all hygiene, health, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum of
  3–5 years' experience
  in a supervisory housekeeping role within a
  4- or 5-star hotel
  .
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and chemical safety.
• Ability to work
  flexible and varying shifts
  , including
  mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  , as per operational requirements.
